Registration opens for Rutgers Basketball Camp

The Rutgers Men’s Basketball Program is proud to welcome back the 2022 Steve Pikiell Basketball camp this summer.

Pikiell has led the current resurgence of Rutgers basketball, both on and off the court for the past six seasons as head coach of the Scarlet Knights. Under Pikiell, RU returned to the NCAA Tournament marking the first time Rutgers have done the big dance in consecutive seasons since 1976. RU’s appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2021 was their first since 1991. In 2022 , Pikiell passed Tom Young with the most ranked wins in school history (13).

The 19th head coach in Rutgers men’s basketball history has guided the 2022 Scarlet Knights to many firsts in program history. In 2021-22, RU defeated the nation’s No. 1 team at Purdue and was the first unranked team in college basketball history to beat four ranked opponents in a row. Rutgers has won the school’s best 12 games in the Big Ten conference.

The basketball camp will take place over two sessions at Jersey Mike’s Arena, home of the Scarlet Knights. The camp is delighted to welcome back all boys ages 8-18 (grades 4-12).

Many special members of the Rutgers men’s basketball team and coaching staff past and present will be on hand to make every session a memorable one for the campers.

The first five-day session begins Monday, June 27 and ends Friday, July 1. The second session of the camp begins on Monday July 25 and ends on Friday July 29. Camp price has been reduced from $450 to $350.
